The Kildare and West Wicklow Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (KWWSPCA) is a registered charity established in 1940 to prevent animal cruelty and is affiliated to the Irish Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ISPCA).

Along with the increased population of County Kildare and West Wicklow, there has been a corresponding increase in the number of suspected and actual cases of neglect and outright cruelty to animals, as well as an increase in road and other accidents involving animals.

Set up a monthly standing order

An amount, however small, will help us to meet our monthly running costs. To set up a standing order please download the form, fill out your details and return to The Treasurer, 34 Cluain Aoibhinn, Craddockstown Rd, Naas, Co Kildare. Please don’t send the form directly to your bank.

What should I do if my Pet is Missing?

If your dog has gone missing check with the Kildare Dog Warden – 059 8623388 – any dogs found straying without an identity tag will be brought to the pound where they may only be kept for 5 days. Check with them every day.Contact the local Gardai. Stray dogs which have been found are often reported to the nearest Garda Station. Check with them frequently.
