Meet Buffy, she is a young Labrador cross, and is less than a year old…probably about 7-8 months old. She is a very friendly affectionate little girl, and she craves human attention. We think she may have been adopted around Christmas as a cute puppy and then the inevitable happened, she grew into a dog very quickly, Christmas passed and people returned to work, etc and found that they just didn’t have the time or interest in a young dog, and were not bothered to give her the love, attention and training she would require. She was obvioulsy loved a lot at some point…she is very fond of cuddles, seems used to being in a house getting tit bits of ham, chicken etc, and is now very confused and sad at where she has found herself. She is very good with the other dogs at our shelter and is very much a favourite with the volunteers. She is bouncy but is very enthusiatic for her walks…..a little lead training may be required. Because she is still young and bouncy we would not recommend her to a home with young children in case she would knock them over. She travels well in the car.

Buffy has been spayed, chipped and vaccinated. She lives at our shelter if you would like to meet her with a view to adoption. We ask for a minimum donation of €130 to partly cover veterinary expense, a license and tag are required to complete the adoption and a home visit will be required.
