Meet Carlos, a lovely collie who recently came into our care. Carlos is 6 years old and is a very healthy and fit dog. He is friendly and easy on the lead, very much loving human company and loves to be taken for his walks. Due to his lovely temperament, he has become very popular with all the volunteers at our shelter. He is clean in his overnight kennel therefore seems to be house trained, but will of course need a bit of patience as he settles in to any new home. We have no idea what he is like with cats, and if he is to be rehomed to a family with another dog, it will be subject to a successful meet and greet. Typical of all collies, he is an active dog who will need to be given exercise and stimulation, and he will need a secure garden.
Carlos has been neutered, vaccinated and chipped (chip number 972274000331645, origin Ireland). If you are interested in adopting Carlos please submit an expression of interest form which can be found in the following link:

No calls please.

We ask for a minimum donation of €200 when we rehome a dog to partly offset our veterinary and other expenses. A dog licence and collar tag are needed to complete the adoption, a secure garden is required and there will be a home check.
