Flicker is looking for a new home. She is a very elegant, female greyhound. She is about 2 years old and is a very gentle, affectionate young dog. She is good on the lead but does not need long walks. She especially likes lounging in the kitchen at our Shelter and she has become one of the favourites among the volunteers. She did come into the Shelter with a few bald patches but with veterinary treatment and regular baths, her fur is growing back. She is a fabulous colour and has very expressive golden eyes. We don’t know much about her background but she appears to be good with other dogs but would not suit a house with a small dog or a cat. We would also prefer her to go to a home with older children. She will need a secure garden. Flicker will only need a short walk a couple of times a day and then would be happy to lounge on a her bed (or preferably her owner’s bed!) or a sofa for a good part of the rest of the day.

Flicker has been spayed, vaccinated and microchipped (chip number 977200009733549, origin Ireland).

If you are interested in adopting Flicker please submit an expression of interest form which can be found in the following link: http://kwwspca.ie/adoption-process No calls please.

We ask for a minimum donation of €200 when we rehome a dog to partly offset our veterinary and other expenses. A dog licence and collar tag are needed to complete the adoption, a secure garden is required and there will be a home check.
