Lena is a lovely whippet who is now under the care of the kwwspca. She is a very friendly dog, loving life and loving everyone she meets. She is very interested in meeting our other dogs and we think she will get on well with other dogs, particularly whippets and lurchers that she could run zoomies with. Rehoming with another dog would, of course, be subject to a meet and greet. We don’t know what she is like with cats but generally recommend a cat free home for our sighthounds. She is very good on her walks, and is gentle on the lead. She is only about 1.5 years old and can be a little bit jumpy when she gets excited, therefore she will be better in a home with older children, as young children can become upset by a dog jumping. She is an absolute sweetheart who has stolen the hearts of our volunteers, and we know she will steal the hearts of everyone who meets her. She would like a home where she has company for a good bit of the day, as she is still a young dog. She has been spayed, vaccinated, and chipped (chip number 981020002391851, origin Ireland). If you are interested in adopting Lena please submit an expression of interest form which can be found in the following link:

No calls please.

We ask for a minimum donation of €200 when we rehome a dog to partly offset our veterinary and other expenses. A dog licence and collar tag are needed to complete the adoption, a secure garden is required and there will be a home check.
