Lewis: Reserved

Lewis is a majestic and handsome greyhound who is waiting eagerly for a new home so that he can become a much loved pet. Lewis is a lovely natured dog, affectionate and good natured. He loves people, loves company, and is good with other dogs. He is a young dog, at only 17 months old, and he loves to play with a big ball in our garden, happily chasing it and pushing it around with his nose when you throw it for him. He is very light on the lead and very much enjoys his walks. He is a big dog but is just a gentle baby. Greyhounds make the ideal family pet in that they do not need a lot of exercise, two shorter walks in the day (about 20-25 minutes) followed by lots of lying around and snoozing is exactly what a greyhound wants. They don’t need big gardens or lots of space, and many greyhounds live very happily in apartments. They are generally very gentle and easy going around children too. Because of their high prey drive thay are not recommended to homes with cats or small dogs.
Lewis is neutered, vaccinated and chipped (chip number 972274200028654, origin Ireland, date of birth 18/05/2020).
