Sailor

Sailor is a lovely 4 year old greyhound who has now retired from racing and wants nothing more than a family to call his own. He is a gentle and quiet dog, he is good on the lead and very easy to walk. He will be happy with two short walks of about 25 minutes each and will then want to relax and sleep somewhere warm and comfortable. He loves our other greyhounds and will do well in a home with another dog (as long as its not small and furry), he will also be happy as an only dog, but he doesn’t want a cat in his home. He is a very handsome dog, with a beautiful sleek, velvety coat. He is affectionate and loves human company. He is also a hero who saved another one of our greyhounds by donating his blood. Greyhounds are great pets due to their docile nature, their easygoing attitude, and the fact that they are good and gentle with children. They don’t need a lot of exercise as they were built for short bursts of speed, not stamina, and they don’t need a big garden…in fact many of them live in apartments and are perfectly happy. Sailor will be an affectionate, easy going, gentle and handsome pet for some lucky family. Will you be that lucky family?
Sailor has been castrated, vaccinated and chipped (Chip number 972274000437884, origin Ireland, date of birth 1/9/2017).
