Tamara: foster home found

Permanent foster home required
Tamara is a lovely small greyhound who recently came into the care of the kwwspca. She is 5 years old, and worked hard as a racer all her life. She now deserves nothing but the best and is looking for a nice comfortable home, with a soft warm bed or couch, with humans who are prepared to love her and look after her well. She is friendly and affectionate, however poor Tamara is worried that nobody will want her because she is a black dog, and also because, as a result of her hard racing life, she now has arthritis in her rear right hip. This is very manageable with the administraion of anti inflammatory pain killers which keep her pain free and mobile, the cost of whcih we will cover. She sometimes walks with a limp on stony surfaces, but is fine walking on grass and smooth surfaces. She would love a home with someone who is not too active, as shorter walks will suit her, and she will be very happy lazing around for the rest of the day. She loves our other greyhounds, however she would not like to share her home with a cat. We really hope that someone will give this girl a chance, as she is a real beauty, and greyhounds make the most amazing pets due to their easy going and gentle nature.
Tamara has been spayed, vaccinated and is chipped (chip number 972274000338871, origin Ireland, date of birth 3/4/2016).
