Ned has recently come into the care of the KWWSPCA from the Kildare Dog Pound. He is about 3 years old and is very friendly and affectionate. He seems to get on well with other dogs. When he first came into our care he had a skin problem, but he has been having veterinary treatment for it and regular baths and he is much improved. He can be a little nervous around strangers and of new situations and loud noises so he would not suit a home with young children. He is good on the lead and travels well in a car and he is house trained. Ned has been neutered, microchipped and vaccinated. ...

This is Lady. She is a small collie cross and we believe she is less than a year old. She came to us from the pound along with Caoimhe with whom she shares her kennel and run and they get on really well together. Lady also gets on well with the other dogs at our shelter. She is very friendly and very affectionate…..she likes to have either human company or the company of another dog. She loves her walks and walks well on the lead. Lou is a 5-6 month old Whippet/lurcher that recently came into the care of the kwwspca. She is a very happy little dog, enjoying every minute of life. She gets on really well with other dogs, seems to be good with cats, likes children and adults alike. She loves to run and play, is good on the lead, is house trained and to top it all off is a really stunning little girl. She walks with her back legs slightly wider apart than normal but we have had her checked out and the vets have found no abnormality on her x-rays….she can run like the wind when she wants to. Saoirse has recently come into the care of the KWWSPCA from the Kildare Dog Pound. She was a very sorry case when she first arrived; she was very underweight, her coat was in a terrible condition and it was obvious she had been living rough for some time and scavenging to survive. She is a boxer cross and we think she is about 2 years old. When she first came to the KWWSPCA Animal Shelter she was very anxious and nervous about her new surroundings, but within a few days she became a new dog, loving all the attention, regular meals and a warm, dry bed for the night. Caoimhe has recently come into the care of the KWWSPCA from the Kildare Dog Pound. She is a young dog, between 2 and 3 years old, and we think she is a springer spaniel cross. She is a strong dog on the lead and will need a little bit of training, but she loves her walks and being out and about. She is an intelligent dog, so would quickly learn the house rules. She is very affectionate and likes human company and attention, and she also seems to be good with other dogs.
