The Rathbawn Show will be held at Rathbawn Lodge, Kilteel, Co Kildare on Sunday 12th August. Joe & Kathleen Reynolds of Rathbawn Lodge have kindly agreed to hold a Dog Show in aid on the KWWSPCA at the show. Entries for the Dog Show will be taken from 2pm and the first class will commence at 3pm. Entries are €5 per class and there are 8 classes in total (see details below). The prizes are kindly being sponsored by Royal Canin. Our 10th Annual Wag & Bone Dog Show will be held on Sunday 16th September in the Parade Ring at Punchestown Racecourse. Registration is from 1pm and classes commence at 2pm. Classes include Fancy Dress, Dog You’d Most Like to Take Home, Waggiest Tail, Best Rescue & Best Pound Dog. Entry is €5 per class. There will be stalls selling home baking, home produce & books as well as face-painting for the kids. Come along for a great family day out.
The Ballyteague Riding Club are organising a Summer Show at Coilog Equestrian Centre, Kilmeague, on Sunday, 7 July 2013 and the KWWSPCA will be running a Fun Dog Show at the event during the afternoon. Every type of dog is welcome and there will be a special class for Rescue Dogs.
Registration for the Dog Show starts at 1.30 and the Show will start at 2.30. There will be 8 Classes (details given below) and you can enter as many classes as are appropriate to you and your dog.
€3 for each entry and all the proceeds from the Dog Show will go directly to the KWWSPCA. The first three in each class will win rosettes and dog treats.
All dogs must be kept on leads throughout the Show so that the horses and ponies competing in the equestrian events will not be frightened.

Some of the KWWSPCA dogs in need of homes will be there; ‘Noah’s Ark’, the KWWSPCA Charity Shop, will have a stall and there will also be stalls selling books, refreshments, cakes, pet products and much, much more. Stonebrook Pet Farm will have some of its animals on display and Les Petits Pets Boutique, Kilcullen, will be selling a wide range of pet products. There will be face painting, a lucky dip (for children and for pets) and lots more.
Tickets to the KWWSPCA Summer Draw will be on sale during the afternoon and the winning tickets will be drawn at approximately 4.30. If anyone would like a ticket or would like to help sell the tickets before the event, please call 087 2054955. Tickets cost €2 each or a book of 6 tickets is €10. The winning ticket wins €300; the second ticket wins €100 and the third ticket wins a luxury food hamper.

Artist Sheena Meagher with Collected Wordscapes will be holding an Exhbition of her Chinese Ink Brush Paintings entitled ‘Dog Days’ at the end of October. It will be officially opened by Clem Ryan of KFM on Thursday 23 October at 7.30 and will continue until Monday 27 October.
A donation will be made to the KWWSPCA from the proceeds of the Exhibition.
