The KWWSPCA are holding a Coffee Morning and Bring & Buy Sale in the Heritage Centre (Theatre/Town Hall) in Kilcullen between 10.00 a.m. and 2.00 p.m. on Thursday 13 June, 2013.
There will be a book stall, a stall to sell cakes, biscuits, jams, etc. and a bric a brac stall, among other things. Our Summer Draw tickets will also be on sale.
If you would like to donate something for the sale, you can bring them on the day, or leave them at the Heritage Centre (open from 10 – 2 each week day) or at Les Petits Pets Boutique, Kilcullen, opposite the Heritage Centre. If you can help us on the day, please call 087 2054955.
A Family Fun Day will be held on Sunday 17 August 2014 at Newbridge Rugby Club near Athgarvan which is a very short distance from the KWWSPCA Animal Shelter. The Rugby Club is at Rosetown, on the Athgarvan/Twomilehous road, about a mile from Athgarvan.
There will be a chance to meet some of the animals in the care of the KWWSPCA and to visit our Shelter. There will be stalls selling a wide variety of items; cakes, books, toys, bric a brac, pet products and much more. There will be a bouncy castle, lucky dip, a tombola, a bottle stall, face painting, colouring competitions and other activities to keep everyone amused.
Dog Agility Demonstrations will take place during the day and Stonebook Pet Farm will have some of its animals on display.
The day starts at 12.00 and will continue until 5.00. Light refreshments will be available.
As we do not want to disturb the animals in our care, we will only be allowing a few people at a time to visit the Shelter during the afternoon. Anyone wishing to have a tour of the Shelter on this Family Fun Day can book in with the reception table at the Rugby Club during the afternoon. Please note that no non-Shelter dog will be allowed to visit the Shelter.
Drop in for a cup of coffee or tea and browse round the KWWSPCA’ Charity Shop. Lot of winter clothes and accessories now in stock; a good range of books and great bargains in household good and gifts.
