Gracie/formerly Gary is looking for a new home.

We think she would be an ideal dog for an older person provided there are no cats in the home.
She was rehomed recently, but due to unforeseen family circumstances, she has been returned into the care of the KWWSPCA for rehoming.  Gracie came into our care in the summer, having been found abandoned, heavily pregnant.  She is about 9 years old and should not have been carrying pups at that age.  She had to have a C section when her pups were born and sadly, none of them survived, and Gary herself was quite ill after the surgery.  However, she is fully recovered, but because of her age and her reaction to the previous surgery, she has not been neutered.  Gracie also has a skin condition that is being treated and she needs regular baths.  Despite all this, she is a very sweet, affectionate little dog and loves human company and attention.  She loves to be with other dogs but cannot be homed where there are cats, birds or other small pets.  She would do best in a family situation, where there would be someone at home with her for a good part of the day.  Please call 086 1751841 if you would like to find out more about Gracie or could offer her a home.  We ask for a minimum adoption fee of 130 euro when we rehome a dog and a home check is required.  We also require a dog licence to be purchased before the adoption process can be completed; this can be obtained fro 20 euro from the Post Office or online from your local County Council.   Gracie has been microchipped, vaccinated and wormed and the KWWSPCA will cover all future veterinary costs for her with regard to the treatment she is receiving for her skin complaint.
