Jan: applications closed

Jan is a sweetheart of a dog, just wanting love and affection. She is an older lurcher, we think about 7 to 8 years old, and she came into our care recently from the Kildare Dog Pound. She has a few old scars and marks on her body, so she probably has not had an easy life so far. But she is very gentle, loves her walks and is good on the lead. She gets on well with other dogs but she should not be in a home where there are cats. She is very affectionate and loves all the care and attention she is now getting from our voluteers. She will make a lovely pet. She will not need a great deal of exercise, one good walk a day should be sufficient for her, and then she will enjoy lounging on her bed or your couch.

Jan has been spayed, vaccinated and microchipped (chip number 981020002391865), origin Ireland).

If you are interested in adopting Jan, please submit an expression of interest form which can be found in the following link: http://kwwspca.ie/adoption-process  No calls please.

We ask for a minimum donation of €200 when we rehome a dog to partly offset our veterinary and other expenses. A dog licence and collar tag are needed to complete the adoption, a secure garden is required and there will be a home check.
