Kara has been booked for a home. Kara is looking for a home. She was found badly injured about 6 weeks ago and handed into the vets who discovered that she had an injured pelvis and also deep wounds on her neck. The vets thought she might have been hit by a car but more likely had been involved in a dog fight with a much larger dog. She was kept by the vets for a few days until she was stablised and then went to a loving foster home where she has been given rest and time to recover. She is now back to full health and wants to find a permanent home where she can get the love and attention she deserves. She is a small long haired terrier. She can be nervous of strangers and protective of her owner, but once she gets to know you, she is very friendly and affectionate. She is good with other dogs but does not like cats. She would not be suitable for a home with young children as she like peace and quiet and not too much noise around her. She is house trained, is good on the lead and likes her walks. She has been neutered, microchipped and vaccinated. Kara is in a foster home not at the KWWSPCA Animal Shelter. If you would like to meet her or to find out more about her, please call 087 6803295 or email kwwspca@gmail.com. We ask for a minimum adoption fee of €130 when we rehome a dog to partly cover their veterinary and other costs and a home check is needed. A dog license must also be purchased before a dog can go to its new home. The license costs €20 can be otained at the Post Office or online from your local County Council.
