Ned has recently come into the care of the KWWSPCA from the Kildare Dog Pound.  He is about 3 years old and is very friendly and affectionate.  He seems to get on well with other dogs.  When he first came into our care he had a skin problem, but he has been having veterinary treatment for it and regular baths and he is much improved.  He can be a little nervous around strangers and of new situations and loud noises so he would not suit a home with young children.  He is good on the lead and travels well in a car and he is house trained.  Ned has been neutered, microchipped and vaccinated.  He is living in a foster home at the moment, so an appointment would have to be made to see him as he is not at the KWWSPCA Animal Shelter.  We ask for a minimum donation of 130 euro when we rehome a dog to partly cover their veterinary and other costs, and a home check is needed.  A dog licence also has to be obtained before the adoption process can be completed; this can be purchased for 20 euro at the Post Office or online from your local County Council.  Please call 087 6803295 or 087 1279835 if you would like more information about Ned or if you would like to meet him.
