Arnold: applications closed

Arnold is a labrador cross that recently came to us along with his two best friends, Stanley and Abel. Arnold is 8 years old. He is initially a little nervous but will become more confident as he gets to know you. He can be a little frightened of new experiences, but once he has mastered the experience, he is happy with it going forward. One could say that he is a little cautious of what he does not know. He will need a nice, patient owner who will show him kindness and understanding, and will help him to settle into his new life. He is very happy to walk on the lead, and he is spotless in his kennel overnight. He is most comfortable when he is with one or both of his buddies, so we would like to either rehome him along with one of them, or alternatively rehome him to a family that have another gentle dog. We don’t know how he is with cats. He is a gentle dog, is very happy and affectionate towards you once he gets to know you. While he is probably fine with children, we do not want to rehome him to a family with young children because noisy, boisterous children could frighten or uppset him. A nice quiet home will suit him a lot better. We think ideally a home in a rural location will best suit him, it must have a secure garden. Could you be Arnold’s special family?

Arnold has been neutered, vaccinated and chipped (chip number 972274200107439, origin Ireland).
