The beautiful Arthur was surrendered when he was brought to the vets after eating a plastic container. His owners preferred to have him PTS rather than pay for an operation. Thankfully he survived and arrived as a lil bag of bones, barely 5kg at almost 4 months old.

Within 10 days, he was almost 12 kilos, despite a strict diet to allow his stomach to recover.

He’s an extremely affectionate and loving dog, who adores being with people. He’s fine with other dogs too ( not sure about cats as he’s not seen them up close). Walks well on a lead and is very quick to learn.

Loves a cuddle, especially in bed and settles down well at night. He’s also fine to leave to ” mind the house” if you need to go shopping.

He’s very polite about eating, always checks to make sure it is for him and likes the odd treat.

He’s loves to play and was delighted with the snow, spent hours out playing in it.

He’s a people dog and needs a home where he’s loved as part of the family, not kept outdoors in a kennel or in a run. He’s also a bit of a telly addict.

He will be a fantastic addition to any family, be it a single person or a large family 🙂

He is currently in a foster home therefore an appointment will be needed to meet him.
He is chipped and vaccinated, and must be neutered at 6-7 months ( cost covered by KWWSPCA). We ask a minimum donation of €130 to partly offset veterinary costs, a licence and collar tag are required to complete an adoption, and a home visit is required.
