Bambi is a happy little female lurcher puppy , around 4-5 months old, who was found abandoned as a small puppy. She was only 8-10 weeks old when found by one of our volunteers and was suffering from bad mange. This was treated with Bravecto and has cleared, now the hair is growing back and she looks beautiful. She lives is a foster home with an older dog that she loves. She can be a little too bouncy for him at times so she would possibly be best living with a younger dog who would be able for lots of play, or as an only dog. Because of her bounciness she would be best not living with very young children as she might knock them over. She is still a puppy and sometimes may nip a little bit when playing so this must be kept in mind if she is to come into contact with young children…. we will not rehome her to a family with very young children. She is a very affectionate dog who loves to play and loves cuddles and fun. She is quite good on the lead and is almost toilet trained. A little time and patience will soon have her trotting along happily on her lead and also asking to go out when she needs the toilet. She is a fabulous puppy and deserves the very best home. She will reward her new family with lots of fun, love and affection. She is not suited to a home with cats. She is chipped and vaccinated and a condition of her adoption is that she be spayed at 6 months of age. This is covered by the kwwspca. If you would like to meet Bambi please contact 0876803295 or email firstname.lastname@example.org. We ask for a minimum donation of €130 to partly offset veterinary expenses, a dog licence and collar disc are required to complete the adoption, and a home visit applies. Bambi is not living at our shelter so an appointment is required to meet her.
