Meet Ben, a Labrador cross who is now looking for a new home. Ben was rehomed about 6 years ago, but his family are now moving and not in a position to take him so he needs to find a new family. His mother was a staffie, and the litter had a mix of puppies..some looked like pointers, some like shepherds, and some like labs. We initially thought, as a puppy, that Ben was a shepherd cross, but seeing him now we can see that he is labrador cross. Ben is a lovely dog, friendly and really loves humans. He is house trained, and is generally good on the lead but can pull a bit when he sees other dogs. He will need a little bit of training, probably the use of a canny collar would help, and, as he is a high energy dog, he will need a lot of exercise. Please do not consider him if you are not in a position to meet his exercise needs…someone who is out at work all day, or even someone who is working from home from 9-5, will not suit as he will not get adequate walking. Ideally we would like a home with a good sized garden and high surrounds of at least 6ft, and a quiet rural location might suit him.
Ben has been neutered, vaccinated and chipped (chip number 966000100624757, Date of birth 25/7/2015, origin Ireland).
