Elody (reserved)

Elody is a young female Labrador cross, around 9 months old. She has only recently come into our care and is now looking for a new home. She is very friendly and likes other dogs. It is clear that before coming to us she did not receive much training, and therefore will need some lead training, however she is starting to do well already through the guidance of the volunteers at our shelter. She gets very excited when she sees humans and absolute loves human company. She is initially inclined to be a little bit jumpy and for this reason we think that a home without young children will be best suited to her. She is quite clean in her kennel and may actually be house trained but we are unsure about this, however with very little work we think that she will know where she needs to go for toilets. She has been spayed, vaccinated and microchipped (chip number 981020000574616). We ask for a minimum donation of 150 euro to partly offset our veterinary and other costs. A collar tag and licence are required to complete the adoption, a secure garden is required and a homecheck applies. She is living at our shelter outside Newbridge in Co Kildare, and you can meet her there, Monday to Saturday, 1-3pm. With expressions of interest please contact 0871279835 or email kwwspca@gmail.com.
