Meet Jack, one of our resident greyhounds. Jack is an absolute gentleman and he has won the hearts of every volunteer at our shelter. He loves to be with humans and is brim full of affection. Although he is big, he is the gentlest dog going. He walks like a cloud on the end of his lead, and is great with other dogs (provided they are not small and furry, as Jack is an ex racing greyhound and cound easily confuse something small and furry with a rabbit and then give chase, obviously he cannot live with cats). Jack loves to chill, and happily sprawls on a soft bed in our kitchen at the shelter once he has had his walk. Greyhounds don’t need a ton of exercise…once they get two walks of about 20 minutes each they will happily relax for the rest of the day, but they do like to relax with humans or another dog as they are a very sociable breed. Jack, who is 4 years old, is neutered, vaccianted and chipped (chip number 972274000427237, origin Ireland). If you are interested in adopting Jack please submit an expression of interest form which can be found in the following link http://kwwspca.ie/adoption-process/.
