Kim: applications closed

Kim is about 10 weeks old and will soon be ready to go to a home. We do not know the breed of either her mother or father. She looks to have some terrier in her and has long legs therefore there could be some lurcher genes in there too…we don’t actually know therefore can give no guarantee of the adult size of this puppy. She is a gentle dog. As she is a puppy, and has been used to the company of other dogs and pups, we would like her to go to a home where there is someone at home and is available to train her, walk her, and give her everything a young puppy needs. She will not be happy lying on the floor at your feet if you are working from home and on a computer from 9-5, for example. She would be happy in a home with another dog that would be tolerant of typical puppy behaviour. Lead training and house training will be required, and because she is a puppy, and will miss her siblings, she could cry at night when she finds herself alone. We will not rehome her to families with any children under the age of 10. Her home must have a secure garden. A condition of her adoption is that she must be taken to a vet with whom we have an account to be spayed at the age of 6 months…the adoption donation of 200 euros is to partly offset this cost which we cover provided it is arranged through ourselves and with one of our vets. She will be fully vaccinated before rehoming, and she is chipped (chip number 981020002000404, origin Ireland).
If you are interested in adopting Kim please submit an expression of interest form which can be found in the following link http://kwwspca.ie/adoption-process/ No calls please. We ask for a minimum donation of €200 when we rehome a dog to partly offset our veterinary and other expenses. A dog licence and collar tag are required to complete the adoption, and a secure garden is required.
