Lance:: applications closed

Lance is eagerly waiting for his new home. He is a 1.5 year old Beagle cross. He is a very happy boy who loves his walks and loves people. He is very good natured and affectionate, and he is full of energy. He walks well on the lead but can be strong therefore a little bit of guidance might be required, and in typical beagle fashion, he likes to keep his nose to the ground and will check out the various ditches and holes that he passes. As he is a young dog, he will require a little bit of training. He is not yet fully house trained therefore a little effort and patience will be required there. He can be a little bouncy therefore a home without young children is required, we will not take applications from families with children aged under 12 years. He will not like to share his home with a cat. He is friendly towards some other dogs and could possibly live with another young dog, prefereably female, of similar size, subject, of course, to a successful meet and greet. He will also be happy as an only dog. He is best suited to a family who have previous experience of dogs as adult owners. We think a home with a good sized, secure garden will best suit Lance, and his family should be prepared to give him plenty of exercise. He would also like a home where there is someone at home for a good part of the day as beagles do not like to be left alone for long periods of time. Lance is neutered, vaccinated and chipped (chip number 981020000574799, origin Ireland). If you are interested in adopting Lance please submit an expression of interest form which can be found in the following link
