Meet Murph. Murph is 2-3 years old. Murph is a lovely pointer cross that came into our care recently from the ISPCA having been taken from a very overcrowded property. Murph is around 2-3 years old and is a really super dog. He is a little timid on first meeting but with a little encouragement he quickly comes out of his shell. He loves to be taken for walks and walks very well on the lead. He particularly loves to be taken into our kitchen where he thoroughly enjoys relaxing with the volunteers …give him a nice soft bed or a comfortable couch and he is in his element. Better again, produce a biscuit or a treat and you have a friend for life. Murph is used to living with other dogs and would be best going to a home where there is another dog to keep him company. He came into our care with Sarge and Kojak and shares both his kennel and run with them, and it is a joy to see them in the garden together, particularly Murph and Sarge as they like to play chase. We think that the home for Murph should not have very young children, as he does not like loud or sudden noises therefore he could be uncomfortable if the home has noisy or boisterous young children. We think that Murph is house trained. Murph has been neutered, chipped and vaccinated and can be seen at our shelter outside Athgarvan in Co Kildare. We ask for a minimum donation of 150 euro to partly offset veterinary and other costs. A secure garden is required, and a homecheck applies. Do you think that you have that special home for Murph? With expressions of interest please email firstname.lastname@example.org or contact 0871279835. A 50euro non-refundable deposit is required to secure a booking.
Murph and Sarge are two pointers who came to us recently from the ISPCA. They were timid and shy but are really coming on in leaps and bounds, and can be seen here enjoying forbidden biscuits in our kitchen. It's amazing how the rustle of a biscut wrapper always has the effect of bringing even the timid dogs out of their shells 🙂
