This handsome boy is Pogo, a 5 month old lurcher who is now ready to go to his forever home. But Pogo is a very special boy, as he was born with a deformity to one of his front legs, and the decision was taken to amputate in order to give him a normal life without the burden of a useless leg….he has recovered perfectly from his amputation and is running around tremendously well on his three legs. He lives in a foster home with two other dogs and a cat, and he can certainly hold his own when it comes to racing around the garden and having fun, so much so that one of the other dogs has started to run around with a slight hop in order to mimic Pogo’s movement. Pogo is very friendly and affectionate. He loves other dogs, loves the cat, and loves humans. He has a very sweet and gentle nature and absolutely loves his cuddles. We are now taking expressions of interest in Pogo, and will consider all applications in order to find the best home for Pogo. If you would like to express an interest please email firstname.lastname@example.org for a pre adoption form. Pogo has been chipped (chip number 972274200045290, origin Ireland), and vaccinated, and it is a condition of his adopton that he be neutered at 6 months of age – this should be carried out a vets with whom we have an account, and the cost is covered by the kwwspca (partly offset by the adoption donation of 150euro). To complete an adoption a dog licence and collar tag are required, and a secure garden is also a requirement. The KWWSPCA is a Registered Charity (Number CHY 6280) and registered with the Charities Regulatory Authority (Number 2001111048). It is registered with the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine to rehome pets and its Registration Number is IPT200001C.
