This little man is Rexy. He is a collie terrier cross, and he is 11 years old. He will tell you his own story:
My name is Rexy. When I was a pup I was found lost and lonely on a pier by a nice man who gave me something to eat.He brought me to a farmer called John and straight away we became friends. Sure enough, this was going to be my new home. John and I would sit on the sofa together and listen to the radio or watch television. In my younger years I would have gone for a spin in the tractor with him. I loved being in his company but when he was gone out I was left alone and I would get very lonely. Unfortunately John became very forgetful over the past few years so its time for me to find a new companion. The things I like most are tummy rubs, a long walk or a run in an enclosed field. I was lucky to have had another friend called Ann who would take me for long walks on the beach. A little bit of ham is my favourite treat.
I would be forever grateful to you for choosing me. In return for your love and company (and maybe a little bit of ham) I will be your faithful friend.
Lots of love, Rexy xxx
Rexy seems good with most other dogs but he would not suit a home cats, and he has no experience with children. He is very good on the lead. He loves to play ball.
