Roddy is a real dote of a dog. He is a collie and we think he is about 8 years old. He was surrendered, with another dog, as his owners did not have the time to give them enough attention and exercise. His female companion was taken in by another animal rescue, and Roddy was very sad to be left on his own. He is now going in to a foster home, where he will have the company of another dog. He loves people and is very good with other dogs. He is good on the lead and appears to be house trained. Although he is an older dog, he would need quite a bit of exercise and we would also prefer him to go to a home where there would be another dog for company or where he would get plenty of time with his owners. Roddy will need a very secure garden as he loves to explore and can be quick to spot an open gate or door!
If you are interested in adopting Roddy, please submit an expression of interest form which can be found in the following link http://kwwspca.ie/adoption-process/ No calls please.
Roddy is microchipped (972274200124683), his origin is Ireland and he has been neutered and will be fully vaccinated before going to his new home.
