Sprite (reserved)

Meet Sprite, our lovely lurcher. Sprite has just moved into a foster home and is not now living in the Shelter.  Sprite is about 2.5 years old and has been in our care for about two months now.  He is a big boy and is a really nice dog. He is affectionate and loves to be either with people or with another dog. He gets on really well with other dogs and while he was at the Shelter he always had a buddy to share his kennel and his run. Ellie was his best friend, and was adopted, then he was best friends with Moses and Toby, and they were adopted, then he was best friends with Ronaldo and he was adopted, and then he was best friends with Kirby, and he has just been adopted…so poor Sprite waits on and wonders will his perfect family ever come along. He loved to play in the Shelter garden with the other dogs, and was very gentle when playing with our lurcher puppy, Jeff. He also loves to be taken for a walk and is good on the lead, but gets excited if he sees a cat or a rabbit and therefore he cannot go to a home where there is a resident cat. He really enjoys cuddles on the couch and he would very much love a home where he would have another dog for company as he does not like to be left on his own. His ideal home should have a good sized garden where he will have room to stretch his legs, and as he is a lurcher, the surrounds must be of a decent height and be secure. If you would like to express an interest in adopting Sprite, please email kwwspca@gmail.com.
