Stanley: applications closed

Stanley is a hound cross who came to us along with his best buddies, Abel and Arnold. He is 7 years old and even though he could be considered to be in his middle years he still has lots of pep in his step. He is a friendy dog who loves his walks and in typical hound fashion walks with his nose to the ground and his tail in the air as he loves to check out all the scents, and will become quite engaged when he finds a interesting smell. He would like an active family who will take him for good long walks. He is good on the lead. He is easy going and good with other dogs. We do not know how Stanley gets on with cats and therefore will not recommend him to a home with cats. Stanley was very happy with both Abel and Arnold who have both found homes and we would like if Stanley could be rehomed with another friendly dog, subject to a meet and greet. We would ideally like a more rural home, and in order to meet his exercise requirements it will be better if there is someone at home for a good part of the day and available to take him out walking.
Stanley has been neutered, vaccinated and chipped (chip number981020009684733, origin Ireland).
