Chester:applications closed

This really lovely little chap is Chester. He is a beagle cross and is a small dog. He came to us from Clare dog shelter, having found himself homeless due to the death of his owner. We are unsure of his age, but think he is probably around 7 or 8 years old. He certainly behaves like a young dog, has plenty of energy and absolutely loves his walks which he likes to take nice and slowly as he loves to sniff and check everything out as he goes along. He loves our garden where he has lots of space to run about and explore. He seems to be good with other dogs, however we don’t know what he is like with cats. He can be a little shy when he first meets someone new, but he very quickly gets confidence and in no time he is looking for rubs and cuddles. He is house trained. He needs a secure garden with no breaches as he likes to explore. He would also like a home where he has company most of the time and he will not be happy waiting around for a walk while someone works from home, the family who take him should be available to give him regular walks and to provide him with company.
Chester has been vaccinated, neutered and microchipped (chip number 972274200107286, origin Irreland).
