Gail: reserved

This little girl is Gail, a 5 year old beagle x, who came into our care recently having been surrendered to a pound because she was unsuitable for hunting…she would become distracted and run off to do her own thing. Gail is a super little dog who gets on well with other dogs. She is extremely affectionate and just wants to climb up onto your knee to be petted. She thoroughly loves her walks, and walks in a typical hunting dog fashion with her nose engaged, sniffing out rabbits or whatever other smell she can find. She should be walked on a lead at all times. We do not know what she is like with cats. She is very clean in her overnight kennel and is possibly house trained. She needs a home with an active family who will take her for plenty of long walks and provide her with the type of exercise that a hunting dog needs. We will not rehome to families with children aged 5 and under. Gail is spayed, fully vaccinated, health checked, and chipped(chip number 972274200310816, origin Ireland).
