Mitch: applications closed.

Meet lovely Mitch. Mitch is little more than a puppy at only 11 months old. He is, we believe, a Bedlington terrier x. He is a lively dog but walks very well on the lead and is very well behaved when out walking. He is young, and eager to learn, and is already getting the hang of a few simple commands. He can be bouncy with excitement, but this is something he will overcome with training, however because of this we will not rehome to families with small children. The minimum age we will consider is 12 years old. He seems to be good with other dogs, however we have no idea how he is with cats. He seems to have had some house training, however he may need a little guidance in this area and we believe he will learn very quickly. Mitch has the most amazing ability to climb therefore he must have a very secure garden, and he should never be left unattended in his garden as we believe he will manage to climb out….however his desire to escape is just to be with you therefore if you leave a door open he will more likely go back in to you rather than run away. Whoever adopts him MUST leave him indoors when not at home, and should keep a very close eye on him if he is in the garden pottering around, ideally leaving a door open for him. Mitch has been neutered, Vaccinated and chipped (chip number 972274200220598, origin Ireland). If you are interested in adopting Mitch please submit an expression of interest form which can be found in the following link No calls please. We ask for a minimum donation of €200 when we rehome a dog to partly offset our veterinary and other expenses. A dog licence and collar tag are required to complete the adoption, and a secure garden is required.
