Thunder: applications closed

Meet Thunder, one of our lovely greyhounds who is now waiting patiently to find his new home. Thunder is a lovely dog, he is gentle and a little reserved, but will happily come to you to be petted and cuddled. He is like a cloud on the lead, you wouldn’t even know you were walking a dog. He very much likes his walks and he loves spending time in human company. He is very good with other dogs, and shares his indoor kennel and his outdoor run with two other greyhounds. He likes to chase a ball in our garden, althought he prefers to spend time beside you, sticking his nose into your hand so that you will stroke him. he is a large but very gentle and easygoing dog. Greyhounds make the ideal family pet in that they do not need a lot of exercise, two shorter walks in the day (about 20-25 minutes) followed by lots of lying around and snoozing is exactly what a greyhound wants. They don’t need big gardens or lots of space, and many greyhounds live very happily in apartments. They are generally very gentle and easy going around children too. Because of their high prey drive thay are not recommended to homes with cats or small dogs.
Thunder is neutered, vaccinated and chipped (chip number 972274200100386, origin Ireland, date of birth 24/03/2020).
