Schubert has been reserved

Schubert is looking for a new home. Schubert came into the care of the KWWSPCA from the Kildare Dog Pound. He is about 3 – 4 years old and is possibly a corgi/terrier cross. He is good on the lead and is house trained. He lived in a foster home with young children, dogs and cats for a few weeks and had absolutely no problems. He is very affectionate towards those people he knows and is very popular with the volunteers at the KWWSPCA Shelter where he is now living, and was also very much loved by his former foster family. Basically he just needs someone who is prepared to be firm with him and offer him the proper balance of affection, kindness and discipline as he may try to be the boss if he is not kept in check. He has been neutered, vaccinated and microchipped and can be visited between 2.00 and 4.00 every day, apart from Sundays, or at other times by calling 087 1279835. We ask for an adoption fee of €130 when we rehome a dog to partly cover their veterinary and other costs and a home check will be needed. A dog license also has to be purchased before a dog can be rehomed. These are available for €20 from the Post Office or online from your local County Council.
