Volunteer to help the dogs at the KWWSPCA Animal Shelter

Due to the Covid 19 Virus, the KWWSPCA is not taking on any new volunteers at the present time.

The KWWSPCA really appreciates volunteers who give up their spare time to help it walk, care for and groom the dogs at its Animal Shelter.

All new volunteers will get training from an experienced volunteer and this will include a tour of the shelter, an introduction to our dogs and an overview on the work we do at the shelter each day. Even if you’re not able to walk dogs you may be able to help out with other tasks such as preparing dog meals, washing up bowls or even spending some one-to-one time sitting with a dog and giving them attention. These are all important tasks and help with the care of our animals.

For insurance purposes, you must be 18 years or over to become a KWWSPCA Volunteer. You will need your own transport as there is no public transport to the Shelter.  You will also need to have had an up-to-date tetanus vaccination.

Volunteer to help raise vital funds for the KWWSPCA

Fundraising is critical to supporting the work of the KWWSPCA rescuing, rehabilitating and responsibly rehoming animals that have been abused and neglected. A few hours of your time can make a real difference from organising community events, helping at our events, flag days and bucket collections – we need your help!

Many people find volunteering extremely rewarding, and a great way to support a cause they care about. If you can help us, please get in touch by calling the Helpline 087 6803295 or emailing kwwspca@gmail.com.

Thank you so much!
