One of our young supporters, Zoe Spillane, is raising money for the KWWSPCA by walking 100 km in the month of July, with her dog Trixie. They have already covered quite a few kilometres and have raised over €200 so far for the KWWSPCA. It is marvellous when the young have concerns about animal welfare and are willing to put time and effort into fundraising for charity.

The Spillane family adopted a rescue greyhound called Hazel from the KWWSPCA about 7 years ago but Hazel sadly went over the rainbow bridge last July. This fundraiser is in her memory.
