The KWWSPCA would like to thank the Reverend Stephen Neill of Christ Church, Celbridge, for organising another very enjoyable and popular Ecumenical Pet Blessing Service yesterday, with the collection going to the KWWSPCA. This was the 11th year of the event. He was assisted by Fr Peter from St Patrick’s Church and there were about 200 people in the congregation and almost 100 dogs and two gerbils! The collection raised €780 for the KWWSPCA which is a great result. Thanks also to the team at the Church who looked after the logistics on the day, the music and the teas. And many thanks to the KWWSPCA volunteers who attended the Service along with some of our rescue dogs and past rescue dogs.
