Before Christmas, we send out an appeal to our Supporters to consider becoming a Volunteer Christmas Fosterer so that our Shelter Volunteers can take a break and the dogs can have a nice comfortable Christmas break. Ideally we would like the dogs to be gone to foster homes by 23rd December and back again from 2nd January. All supplies and food will be provided. Our Christmas Fosterers always report this as a very positive and enjoyable experience, especially those who would dearly love to adopt a dog but are not in a position to do so. It could even be a great time to try out having a dog in your home.
