You are entitled to:

- Confidentiality and a choice as to whether you wish to receive further information from the KWWSPCA
- Assurance that the Society has high levels of accountability and transparency
- Assurance that donors and prospective donors have clarity and assurances about how their donations are used
The board of the KWWSPCA is committed to the principles of good governance and believes in openness, transparency and accountability.
The KWWSPCA’s Commitment to Standards in Fundraising Practice
The KWWSPCA is fully committed to achieving the standards contained within the Statement of Guiding Principles for Fundraising. The statement was developed by the ICTR (Irish Charities Tax Research Ltd.) and exists to provide charities in Ireland with a Fundraising Code of Practice. The KWWSPCA believes it meets the standards the Code of Practice sets out.
The Kildare and West Wicklow Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Ltd is a company limited by guarantee, registered in Ireland with the Company Number 448178. The KWWSPCA is a Registered Charity CHY 6280 and is registered with the Charities Regulatory Authority (Number 20011048). The Registered Office is Mullinasella, Calverstown, Co. Kildare.
The Trustees are as follows: John Kane (Chairperson), Sandra Cusack, Tracey Long, Sally McCaffrey, Jason Morris and Ann O’Neill Brown.
The Annual Accounts of the KWWSPCA are professionally audited and are available to the public on request. The KWWSPCA’s accounts are audited by S. C. Dunne and Co., Newbridge.
Charities Governance Code
The KWWSPCA complies with the requirements of the Charities Regulator and completes an Annual Charities Regulator Governance Compliance Record Form.
