This Christmas, we’re celebrating the heartwarming story of Callie, a rescue dog who found her forever home after a difficult journey. Callie was surrendered to our Athgarvan shelter in a poor state, battling a severe skin condition and the tragic loss of her five puppies.
Our dedicated team of staff and volunteers provided Callie with the love and care she needed. We nursed her back to health, addressing her skin condition and providing her with the emotional support she craved.
Callie’s transformation was remarkable. Her once-gaunt frame filled out, her coat regained its shine, and her spirit soared. She was ready for her next chapter.
On October 8th, Callie found her forever home, joining a loving family who showered her with affection and cherished her companionship.
This Christmas, we’re sharing Callie’s story to remind you of the transformative power of love and compassion. When we open our hearts to animals in need, we not only give them a second chance, but we also enrich our own lives.
Join us in welcoming Callie into her new life, and let her story inspire you to make a difference. If you’re considering adopting a pet, please visit our website or shelter in County Kildare to meet the many deserving animals waiting for their forever homes.
Together, we can make the world a brighter place for animals in need.
