End of Month Report October 2024
Our Foster Families are still flat out saving as many little lives as they can. With over 33 kittens in foster there are no shortage of colours and types to chose from but it is a disgraceful and endless situation for these defenceless animals to be in. Thank you to each one of our families for your kindness and generosity.
This leads us to the Kitty Cottage volunteers who have successfully cared for and homed 32 cats and kittens this month. An amazing number and an indication of the amount of wonderful families who are willing to adopt, opening their homes to young kittens and older cats who need a second chance at love.
And then there are, our amazing trappers. With 39 cats TNRed (21 males and 18 females) they have worked tirelessly to keep up with the constant calls for help with cats and kittens that are under the shed, in the car engine, behind the neighbours garage or injured and needing rescue.
The calls are constant and the patience is low but if you wait we will get to you.
Please remember we are all volunteers, we don’t get paid and most of us have jobs and families that also need our time and attention.
To all those who have helped us in any way this month, Thank you we could not do what we do without you
